NORTH CANTON CIVIC CENTER FREE ART SERIES FEATURES
CSO BRASS QUINTET,  MAY 23 at 7pm

The second in a series of free arts programs organized by the Canton Museum of Art will take place on Thursday evening, May 23 at 7pm at the North Canton Civic Center, 845 W. Maple Street, featuring the Brass Quintet of the Canton Symphony Orchestra.  The series is funded by a generous grant from North Canton City Council through the agency of the Stark -Tuscarawas-Wayne Joint Solid Waste Management District.  Refreshments will be served at the end of the performance.

At 6 pm, an hour prior to the concert, children arriving in the company of parents or other adults are invited to participate in an art project.  Youngsters will have an opportunity to draw on various cardboard pieces, and then to assemble these into large geometric constructions.  More than 100 people attended the performance by the Canton Ballet on May 9.

For further information, contact the Canton Museum of Art at 330-453-7666, the Canton Symphony Office 330-452-3434, or North Canton City Hall, 330-499-5081.
