Give your child the gift of ART!

Do you have a creative child who loves art? If you are looking for a new and exciting location to celebrate a child’s birthday, consider celebrating with friends and family at the Canton Museum of Art!


As part of our birthday package, your party goers will explore our museum galleries and create their own masterpiece!




Package price includes up to 10 children, additional children may be added at $10 per child
Designed for Ages 4-14

  • Exclusive use of classroom for three and a half hours
  • Instructor led art project - all materials included
  • All children leave with a finished work of art
  • Admission into Museum Galleries for every child
  • Includes a visit inside the Museum Galleries*
  • Includes one-hour art project
  • Additional time for host guided celebration, presentation of gifts, etc.
  • Family provides decorations, food, refreshments, cake and/or utensils.  Refrigeration is not available.

Example Schedule:
1:30-2:00 Classroom is available for setup
2:00-2:30 Check-in party goers and visit into the galleries
2:30-3:30 Instructor guided painting activity (Wayne Thiebaud inspired cupcake painting)
3:30-4:30 Time available for presents and/or food that you bring while artist instructor cleans up art materials.
4:30-5:00 Clean up


*Due to our diverse and changing exhibits, a gallery visit may not align with your selected party date




  • Please allow two weeks advance notice when scheduling a party.

  • Your final guest count must be given to the Museum at least one week prior to your party.

  • The Canton Museum of Art must be notified of a cancelation at least one week prior to your party.

  • In case of emergency, the museum will reschedule the party to a day and time convenient for both the customer and the museum.

  • To protect the art and the Museum; the following items cannot be used: glitter, confetti, helium balloons, or alcohol. Items can be pinned to bulletin board walls with thumbtacks only (no tape, command strips or other hanging utensils).

  • Booking party is responsible for cleaning up the space and any damage  to rooms will be assessed the repair and replacement charges connected with cleaning or restoring damaged areas to as close to original condition as possible.

  • Dates are subject to availability.
