Ceramics Guild Annual Spring Sale

The Canton Ceramic Artists Guild, an affiliate group of the Canton Museum of Art, will hold their Annual Spring Sale on the first Friday and Saturday in May  inside the CMA's Wilkof Courtyard and lobby. This popular Canton event will feature the work of 13 master potters and ceramic artists and will include functional stoneware, sculpture, wall pieces, raku, and more. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Museum’s Ceramic Education Program.

Each potter is donating 8 or more  hand-made bowls for the Empty Bowls for Hunger project, all proceeds to benefit the Stark County Hunger Task Force.  Bowls will be offered for $15 and $20 each.

Friday evening’s activities will include the museum’s reception for the opening of the “Reflections: The Artistic Spirit of Merv Corning” Exhibit  with a full-service cash bar beginning at 5 pm.

All sale attendees will receive one chance to win a raffle for a $35.00 gift certificate to use in the museum’s gift shop, or to take an art class. On Saturday, attendees will double their chance, with 2 tickets instead of one. The drawing will be held at the end of the day and you do not have to be present to win.

Parking is free, remember to tell the attendant that you are parking for the Museum’s Pottery Sale.
