2025-2026 Art Educator of the Year Award
7th Annual Art Educator of the Year
& 9th Annual Music Educator of the Year Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 7th Annual Art Educator of the Year Award, co-sponsored by the Canton Museum of Art and the Massillon Museum, and the 9th Annual Music Educator of the Year Award, sponsored by the Canton Symphony Orchestra (CSO) . The awards will be presented on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the CSO MasterWorks concert at 7:30 p.m. Winners will receive a $500 award.
Final Nominations for this year’s awards are due by Sunday, December 21, 2025.
Nominees must be licensed Art or Music Educators in a public, private, or parochial school classroom setting in grades K-12 in the region served by the Stark County Educational Service Center. Educators from all fields of Music and Visual Arts are eligible. The honored Educators will be selected from a field of five finalists chosen by a panel of qualified judges from the community. Finalists will be recognized at a reception prior to the concert on March 28. Former recipients of the award are not eligible to win in consecutive years.
Anyone can nominate a Music or Art Educator for the award.
