Learn the fundamentals of working with clay from start to finish through instructor-led demonstrations and basic glazing techniques. Beginner students will focus on 4 weeks of essentials, including hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab. These introductory weeks will be followed by individualized projects with one-on-one instructor attention and feedback, as students explore the basics of functional pottery and decorative pieces. This class is a precursor to learning how to do wheel throwing at a later stage.

Instructor: Susan Mentrak

Member $218 | $272, Ages 16+, 10 seats available
