Depart from drawing realistic pictures and go full S.T.E.A.M. ahead in this unique camp! Explore the intersection of subjects: science, engineering, art, and creativity creating new abstract masterpieces. Campers will learn about famous abstract art while being surprised at how much math and engineering is involved in its creation. See firsthand the amazing abstract art on display in the CMA exhibit Organized Ambiguity: Recent Grids of David Kuntzman. Tinker, engineer, splatter, measure, draw, and construct with a variety of techniques including the creation of optical illusions, action painting, abstract expressionism, cubism, abstract sculptures, and more!
