Join us during Canton Museum of Art's Free Thursdays for "Acoustic Reflections: Gallery Grooves," a free series designed to activate the galleries and courtyard with creativity and sound. This series features music and poetry that echoes the art on display. Thursday, March 19, April 16, and May 21, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, immerse yourself in an evening of live acoustic guitar performances, with music chosen to reflect the themes and moods of the artwork, and open Ekphrastic Poetry readings nestled among the artwork. Step into the Courtyard for a hands-on, free art-making activity with all supplies included. Admission is always free on Thursdays. If you wish to participate in the open mic poetry reading or bring your own acoustic guitar for a mini jam session, please register in advance as space is limited. Art materials provided; inspiration for all ages!
