Interact online with instructor Alex Draven and fellow students watching virtual online lessons, demonstrations, discussions and more! Students will be given time to practice, and create with help and live feedback. Discover the basics of wire and stone wrapping to begin making your own jewelry. Individual projects will include functional pottery and decorative work. Glazing techniques will be taught, finished ware will be discussed, and demonstrations will be given.

Form, surface design, glazing, and firing will be explored in greater depth during this class. Advanced students with five sessions or the equivalent, (or working at a level determined to be advanced by the instructor) will be required to do their own firing in cooperation with the Canton Ceramic Artists Guild to deepen their understanding of the process.

Our teaching artist will make painting easy and fun by instructing you step-by-step through re-creating this painting inspired by Claude Monet's, Water Lilly paintings.
