Students enrolled in this course will learn fundamental painting techniques from observation, images, and other subjects of interest for inspiration using a variety of materials such as watercolor, tempera, and acrylic paints. Learn how to properly mix paint colors, create value, texture and more. Build your artistic skills and be inspired by the world around you through visits to the Museum galleries. Students will develop their fundamental artistic skills essential to any artist creating unique art projects using a variety of drawing, painting, and mixed media art materials. Lessons change every session with experienced instructors that work with each student to see them grow, sign up for multiple classes!
2 classes are special needs/disabilities. Each Intervention Specialist will have 2 aides each with them.

Relax and enjoy friends, wine and fun while creating a personal abstract masterpiece! Now introducing a brand new workshop at CMA creating fluid art using acrylic paint pouring techniques. There is nothing more satisfying than watching the paint spill across the surface. Choose your own colors and enjoy the endless creative and spontaneous possibilities as the paint interacts to produce different effects. Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the process all while you enjoy wine, music and a great time!
