Now offering this NEW one-time workshop in-person! In conjunction with the Art for Health & Healing Program, the Canton Museum of Art welcomes you to a special mindfulness workshop that focuses on slowing down, relieving stress, and learning to use creativity to increase awareness of self and be present in the moment. Join our Art for Health & Healing Program Coordinator, Dianne Papes, as she directs you through the intuitive process of creating a mandala using watercolor techniques. Mandala's have been found throughout the centuries.
Now offering this 6 week course in-person! Throughout this class, you will learn about the heating cycle of glass, how to use a kiln, plus the techniques to design unique pieces of your own design. You can make jewelry, coasters, and bowls using slumping techniques to name a few projects. Time will be allotted to work during class, offering one on one attention with instructor help and feedback. All experience levels welcome. Taken the class before? Instructor works with each individual student to see them grow, sign up for multiple classes!
