Now offering this 12 week class in our ceramics studios! Students with a firm foundation in basic technical skills will enjoy this class. Form, surface design, glazing, and firing will be explored in greater depth during this class. Advanced students with five sessions or the equivalent, (or working at a level determined to be advanced by the instructor) will be required to do their own firing in cooperation with the Canton Ceramic Artists Guild to deepen their understanding of the process.

Now offering this NEW 6 week course in-person! Create and wear your own hand wrought jewelry! In this 6 week class take a piece of silver from scratch. Design and fabricate your very own ring with a setting. Watch it all come together while learning soldering, and bezel forming techniques manipulating all those items into a beautiful piece of jewelry to treasure forever. All skill levels welcome.

Now offering this 6 week course in-person! Learn to see like a photographer and go from taking snapshots to purposeful, well-composed images that reflect your personal vision. Master the buttons and dials on your camera and shoot in modes other than Auto. This course introduces participants to the creative and technical possibilities of digital photography. Some off site subject mater near the museum and within walking distance downtown will be used for class projects and inspiration including visiting a professional photography studio! Topics include camera operation, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, lighting, and composition. New and experienced photographers are welcome. Taken the class before? Learn a variety of watercolor painting techniques through learning how to paint landscapes utilizing photos for reference. Now offering this NEW one-time workshop in-person! Inspired by the exhibit "Abandoned America: Everything Must Pass." Students will discover how artist, Matthew Christopher, captures the mesmerizing beauty and lost history of various derelict buildings. His artwork advocates for rehabilitation and reuse by emphasizing the cultural importance of preservation. Through creativity and a little engineering, students will create a 3D sculptural city focusing on the importance of place, cultural landmarks, and points of interest to create a city of their own, only limited by their imagination!
