Now offering this 12 week class in our ceramics studios! Students with a firm foundation in basic technical skills will enjoy this class. Form, surface design, glazing, and firing will be explored in greater depth during this class. Advanced students with five sessions or the equivalent, (or working at a level determined to be advanced by the instructor) will be required to do their own firing in cooperation with the Canton Ceramic Artists Guild to deepen their understanding of the process.

Master the buttons and dials on your camera and shoot in modes other than Auto. This course introduces participants to the creative and technical possibilities of digital photography. Some off site subject mater near the museum and within walking distance downtown will be used for class projects and inspiration including visiting a professional photography studio! Topics include camera operation, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, lighting, and composition. New and experienced photographers are welcome. Taken the class before? His artwork advocates for rehabilitation and reuse by emphasizing the cultural importance of preservation. Through creativity, students will repurpose and upcycle "abandoned" materials to create beautiful 2D and 3D artworks utilizing unique and sometimes unconventional items to create something new!
