Brian Jarvi's exhibit, African Menagerie -- The Inquisition invites the viewer into the painting. You are invited into the gallery to draw from observation sitting right in front of the painting! After drawing four views of the animal of your choice, head back to the classroom to learn watercolor techniques to paint the final project.

Learn to be a collagraphic printmaker while drawing inspiration from folk artist and wood carver, Elijah Pierce and his artwork on display in the galleries. Work in the same low-relief style of Pierce as you learn to illustrate your own stories through collage, and then print them using printmaking techniques.
